Gaming Platform Peformance:
Call Of Duty doesn't benefit much from tight memory timings on the Core 2 Duo E6600, even at low resolutions. However, there was a small difference in performance on the Core 2 Duo E6400 at low resolution.
Quake 4 showed some larger differences between the three different sets of memory timings on both processors.
Half-Life 2: Episode One was very similar to Quake 4, in that there were incremental performance differences between the three different sets of memory timings on both the 4MB L2 cache and 2MB L2 cache Core 2 Duos.
