We get a lot of stuff through our letter box here at bit-tech HQ and we do our best to cover as much as we can while still maintaining a high quality of writing, but sometimes it’s just too much to cope with. Space cases are piled up and fashioned into mock forts, computer games become Frisbees or coasters and Tim takes to snacking on spare CPUs when the mood takes him.
There goes another quad-core, sigh.
Some of the stuff we get sent is of the type which is worth covering, but not large or impressive enough to distract us from our other daily tasks. For those products we reserve this type of feature – the On Our Desk, a name which implies we don’t all have our own desks but instead share a single tabletop.
So, today we’ve rounded up some of the various bits and bobs we have lying around. We’ve got a new SteelSeries gaming mousemat, a Corsair Flash Voyager GT, a OCZ ATV 4GB Turbo and a hardy Corsair Flash Survivor GT – all of which we’ll be testing quite thoroughly, I assure you.
In fact, if we were evil journalists then we’d probably insert an evil laugh here. That’s how thoroughly we tested some of the above.
Enough with the boasts and claims however, let's move on and have a look at the first item from our desk.
