  Abit shows us a preview of its upcoming Core 2 Duo overclocker-friendly motherboard: the AW9D-MAX. Looks promising, but we're told that there maybe more to come from this board before it's released.
  
  
• NVIDIA announces PureVideo HD for HDCP
  The green team lays out its software and hardware compatibility for HD movies with HDCP content protection. It's got a new technology to cater for movies - PureVideo HD.
  
  
• ATI's SB650 south bridge will have 6 SATA ports, RAID 5
  ATI's next generation south bridge will feature six SATA 3Gbps ports and comprehensive RAID 5 functionality.
  
  
• ASUS shows off M2R32-MVP Deluxe CrossFire mobo
  ASUS' M2R32-MVP Deluxe mobo looks to have removed the power regulation problems present in the A8R32-MVP Deluxe by using 8-phase power.
  
  
• NVIDIA's nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition pictured
  NVIDIA was demonstrating its new nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition reference motherboard with a Core 2 Duo processor and a pair of GeForce 7950 GX2s in Quad SLI.

Day Two:

• World's tallest building is rebuilt
  The world's tallest building, Taipei 101, has been rebuilt... by a bunch of computer enthusiasts.
  
  
• Core 2 Duo may not launch until September
  Several sources inside the industry have indicated that Intel's upcoming Core 2 Duo processors may not launch until September.
  
  
• ECS showcases ATIs RD600 chips
  ECS has one of ATI's RD600 reference boards on its stand. RD600 is an update of RD580, with added support for Intel's upcoming 2 Duo processors.
  
  
• bit-tech mod on Foxconn's stand
  bit-tech mods are on show again this year. This time, we've joined Foxconn by getting in on the World Cup fever that's sprawling across Taipei.
  
  
• Intel announces 965 Express chipset series
  Intel announces its 965-series chipsets and claims to 'Reach New Heights' on the 84th floor of Taipei 101 - the world's tallest building.
  
  
• SLI memory set for widespread adoption
  NVIDIA's SLI Memory looks to be catching on, as memory manufacturers speak out.
  
  
• ASUS shows off dual X1600XT Gemini card
  ASUS showed us its new dual Radeon X1600XT Gemini card - one of the first single card CrossFire video cards we've seen.
