There are not only plenty of cables provided but Be Quiet! has also included plenty of variety too - a key feature to a good modular PSU. Not only are there some varying lengths but there are also a couple of single ended cables because not all of us have multiple hard drives or optical drives, or sometimes an optimal case layout means one piece of hardware sits on its own. After all, many of us are modders so orthodox is boring.

Be Quiet! has done something clever and mixed SATA and Molex connectors on one cable so in some situations you can string optical and hard drives together on a single cable, minimising mess! Of those connectors that are strung along the cable, they are all at 90 degrees to it as well, in order to ensure the cabling looks less intrusive when installed. Continually, the attention to detail on almost every factor of this unit's design is evident.

The only plugs that are a pain to get to are the two-pin fan plugs as they're tightly packed near the ATX cable, but they're still easy enough to yank out though. While a nice idea, we find the fan cables a bit "messy", although we're not sure what to suggest in order to make them look tidier.

Be Quiet! labels every major cable so even the most uneducated PC builder can intuitively follow exactly what each does. They look ugly as sin dangling away in a case and are prone to being easily ripped off, so if you don't need them, whip them off! It fits with the overall user-friendliness and we feel it’s better to have them and not need them than wonder where the hell everything goes and get it wrong. Remember, we were all newbies once...
