ROG Rampage by Nguyen Dinh Ban (nhenhophach)

Project Log: Here

Nguyen only joined bit-tech's forums late in 2011, but we're certainly glad he's here now. He began posting images of his project, called ROG Rampage, shortly afterwards and the rest is history. He proceeded to win bit-tech's Mod of the Month competition and more recently the project was finally completed.

It's one of the most distinctive-looking projects we've seen this year, and it employs plenty of unusual features. Part case - part test bench, ROG Rampage is water-cooled and uses a riser cable for the graphics card, allowing Nguyen to mount it parallel to the motherboard. The motherboard itself wasn't immune from the modding bug either - various acrylic sections fit around the motherboard and graphics card with a large prism-shaped reservoir as the centrepiece.
