DarthBeavis' Away Team

Here's one project that has slipped through the net as far as attention goes since it first appeared in our forums nearly a year ago, but as it's not quite finished yet, we felt we had to give it a mention. Not least of all because DarthBeavis' project, aptly named DarthBeavis' Away Team, has plenty of the WOAH! factor.

Early renders were certainly intriguing with a triple monitor display attached to a large rectangular case. this turned out to house several PCs and more than a bit of water cooling gear. Each section of the case was made of polished metal, with DarthBeavis shown here doing some of that polishing and grinding.

Here's one section of case on it's own and to match the shiny exterior of the cases, the four radiators, which appear to be dual 80mm types, were sprayed silver along with other parts such as the Laing D5 housing.

After a fair amount of polishing by the looks of things, the outside of the case is looking very shiny indeed. There's so much to see in the project log that we highly recommend paying it a visit but here's a little taster of what came next.

Do we need to say any more? This thing is looking epic. Black, green and chrome takes some beating.
