Fans of the Dungeon Siege games will be pleased to know that a film based on the games is underway, and is now in post production. The first trailer for the film is on the net today, and you can grab it here.

The film features stars including Jason Statham (Transporter), John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings) and Burt Reynolds (absolutely loads).

It's directed by Uwe Boll, who previously brought us awesome films such as Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead, both based on games.

His upcoming projects include BloodRayne, Far Cry and Postal films. Doesn't the guy make any other type of film?

The trailer looks distinctly average, with a definite Lord of the Rings feel to it (reflected in the film's subtitle: In the Name of the King.

Check it out, then let us know what you make of it over in the forums.
