World of Warcraft fans worldwide rejoice, Burning Crusade has finally arrived! If you don't already know about the expansion we highly recommend you check out our preview and if you do know about the expansion, well then why aren't you giving your life up to it right now?

Alongside a new continent and two new races, players will now be able to reach the heady heights of Level 70. Blizzard is hoping that this incentive will encourage fans to buy into Burning Crusade as well as entice old players back into the fold. John LeCraft, senior designer for Blizzard, spoke to Gamespot:

"I can't imagine not buying the expansion if you're playing the game. I'm in a guild, where they don't know who I am, and everybody said yes, although one guy said he couldn't afford it. I told him it'd be worth skipping a few meals for. [laughs]

Seriously though, I do think it will help our numbers, because there are people who have taken a break, who'll come back and check Burning Crusade out."

The interview is certainly worth a read if you're considering making a purchase. What may be even more interesting is an interview over on Pro-G. Not only does it have no plans to make World of Warcraft available to consoles but there could also be a new Starcraft game on the horizon. Vice President of Business Development for Blizzard Entertainment, Itzik Ben Bassat, said:

"I'm a StarCraft player myself and I hope it's not a decade, and we launched StarCraft in 1998, before I'm standing here again, celebrating the next game in the series."

Exciting stuff on the Blizzard front then, which would you be more excited about, a new Starcraft or the Burning Crusade? Let us know in the forums.
