Cooler Master has announced the launch of its popular Worldwide Case Mod competition for 2011. Up for grabs this year are $15,000-worth of prizes, sponsored by Cooler Master and its partners: AMD, EVGA, Gigabyte, Kingston, PowerColor, THQ and Zotac.

The registration gates have already opened, but you have until 15 April to submit your entry and until 15 May to start a worklog on the forums. Votes will be cast for the entries at the end of May, and the winners will be announced on 7 June.

The competition has featured some of the best mods and scratch-builds we've seen in recent years, including Battlestar Galactica by Boddaker (Brian Carter), and Cosmos Dragon by thechoozen (Martin Blass).

We'll be taking a look at the best of the entries in a few weeks. Make sure you keep an eye on Cooler Master's 2011 Case Mod Competition forum to see all the projects as they arrive. Also, don't forget to visit bit-tech's own modding and project log forums, as well as our modding section.

Are you entering the competition? What's your favourite mod or scratch-build so far? Let us know in the forums.
