Raw memory performance for the AMD CPU is suitably massive, since it not only compares DDR3 to the DDR2 used by the Intel Core 2 CPUs, but also it shows up the massive bandwidth difference between the direct connect AMD CPUs and Intel's old front side bus model. Not only is the latency 38 percent lower, it also has large read and memory copy performance advantages, but little in the way of write speed when the Intel CPUs have their front side bus cranked way up.

Sisoft Sandra is a multi-threaded memory test, so here the AMD also yields a fantastic raw bandwidth performance that it claims is over twice as much as the E7500 at 4.2GHz. The latency difference is lower though, at just 13.6 percent.
