Project Log: Here

Despite fangame only joining our forums in November, he's already sent shockwaves through our forum with his new Fury project. It certainly appears to live up to its name so far, with a rendering of a dark, menacing case forming a part of his first update.

Early renders of the project looked fantastic, with the case featuring an interesting mix of solid panels and mesh, as well as adjustable fins in the roof panel.

The project then moved into reality, with the frame being the first physical component that came to light. At the tail end of 2010, we also got our first glimpse of the adjustable fins, and fangame then began cutting out the various panels from single sheets of metal.

You can see some snapshots from fangame's most recent project log updates below. The frame has acquired a mid-section with some delicately-cut holes, which will presumably be used for routing cables and the like.

The case has also received a roof section, with two fan blow holes and a bottom panel. The project is just getting started, but this is definitely one to watch if the renders and quality of work so far are anything to go by.
