A Match Made in Heaven...

This pair of PCs is aptly named 'Twins', although the two use cycling LEDs and change colour periodically and they're never really the same colour at the same time. However, the build quality is fantastic and the frosted glass effect works really well to diffuse the colour through the casing -- it's simple but effective.

The black cube with purple lighting, known as Kuber, is made by the same guy that created the Twins. Again, the design is simple, but it works well because the creator has made great use of a colour scheme and he has stuck to it all the way through the case.

It's built entirely from the ground up, with a customised hard drive cage. If there's anything to pick at with this design, it's that the back has been left quite open and it looks a little ugly in comparison to the other four visible sides of the cube. Ideally, we would have liked to see the black and purple theme continue on the rear of the case.

On the right, that's an old Netzregler power converter that has been transformed into a computer. The great thing about this design is that the CPU load and power usage are displayed on the analogue dials on the front.

Black Ice was quite an interesting custom-build with hinging doors on the front. One of the doors has an LCD screen, while the other houses the reservoir for the system's watercooling loop. It took the modder around 80 hours to build and cost him around 100 Euros (minus the PC hardware, watercooling kit and LCD screen of course).
