External Work

Next thing on the list was to do the back, but I had just run out of 2mm aluminium so I had to use 3mm instead - at the end of the day it makes no difference unless you poke your nose in closely! The shape was drilled out, some threads were cut and finally it was mounted on the rear. Again a double check that everything fitted correctly... Yep!

With the back done, the really time consuming work could begin: The sides... with the corners. Oh why did I want corners?!
I wanted the black strip in the middle to continue around the case, so some more black acrylic cutting was in order.

As you can see on this picture the foil is "cracked", and looks completely matte - not a good thing - keep you acrylic in a cool, dry place kids! Finally cut and stripped it fits perfectly though!
