Blackmesa II Part 2

Time to mod keyboard and mouse. Just like the rest of the case, they needed to be aged and rusted.



The first step was to open the keyboard to see what was inside.



All of the keys needed to be removed so that I could work with my Dremel to destroy the frame around the keys!



With the Dremel destruction completed, the keyboard was given a grey base coat similar to the case.



A little more paint work...



This is a close up of the Dremel work before the application of rust.



Next, I applied the Modern Option rust paint and finally two coats of Modern Option clearcoat to prevent the rust effect from being worn off during use.



Eeuw...I hope that is rust! (You tell me! - ed )



Even the keys received the rustic treatment.



The delapidation spread like wildfire...
