Biomech 550 by Wolverine

Whilst Wolverine, one of Sweden's top modders, is well known for his engraving work, he confesses that "It's the really big projects that get me going." This mod was inspired by the artwork of H.R. Giger, and the bio-technological hybrid mashups he creates.

Wolverine is in good company - Giger's artwork has been a major influence in film and comics over the past two decades, with the look of creatures and spaceships in films such as Alien and The Matrix borrowing heavily from his pictures.

The mod is more of a sculpture, and Wolverine has raided toy cupboards, amongst other things, to provide the base for the shapes that are strewn across the case. The gas mask on the front adds something of a threatening look to it, and the external DVD drive suggests additional plug-in appendages!

Wolverine recently put his work to good use, trading this case with the guys at Intel for, amongst other things, a quad-core CPU. We hope the guys there make good of it!
