Kingston Technology today announced the launch of its HyperX DDR2 1000-MHz (PC2-8000) and HyperX DDR2 1066-MHz (PC2-8500) memory modules. Designed to support high end computing, the new HyperX DDR2 unbuffered DIMMs are available in capacities of up to 2GB, offering gamers and PC enthusiasts the ‘ultimate’ in high performance memory.

“The launch of Kingston Technology’s DDR2 1000 and 1066-MHz brings a series of cutting-edge memory technology to the gaming market,” said Thomas Marschner, Vice President, Sales & Marketing Europe, Kingston Technology. “The new range of HyperX modules are a perfect blend of speed and high performance and are ideal for the latest up-and-coming DDR2 based platforms. With the recently released DDR2 800-MHz low latency modules, the Kingston family is now expanding to include the 1000-MHz and the incredibly fast 1066-MHz,” added Marschner.

With the advent of new platforms using DDR2 memory, combined with the introduction of memory hungry software and games - the need for high performance and large capacity memory is ever increasing. Kingston Technology’s latest HyperX modules are the ‘must-have’ memory for gamers and PC enthusiasts.

Mike Field, Division Marketing Manager, Desktop Division, AMD comments, "Kingston Technology provides high-quality products to our customers using PC3200, which enables AMD Athlon 64 FX enthusiasts to modify their PCs and find the best possible performance to suit their gaming or digital media needs. Our socket AM2 processors use DDR2 memory technology, which together with Kingston's new DDR2 memory products will enable the next generation of computing performance."

All Kingston Technology components used to build HyperX must go through stringent tests in order to be qualified for the line. Once potential components meet the rigorous testing standards, they are then assembled and tested for higher speeds and lower latencies. Like all Kingston memory modules, HyperX comes with a lifetime warranty and 24/7 technical support, plus the legendary reliability that has made Kingston Technology a world leader in memory.
