Czech Republic PC download store raises launch awareness with TV sponsorship

LONDON 04/11/11 – Green Man Gaming - Europe’s fastest-growing independent digital PC games distributor (www.greenmangaming.com), is celebrating its launch in the Czech Republic on Saturday, 5th November by sponsoring Re-Play TV – the country’s biggest gaming show.

In co-operation with local partner Next Level Games s.r.o – the new Green Man Gaming (GMG) store will offer gamers in the Czech Republic a fully localised version of its innovative PC download site. As the only retailer in the world allowing gamers to trade in their existing downloads for money-off new games, the new GMG store will promote exclusive regional offers and a full range of local payment options.

Raising awareness of GMG’s launch in the Czech Republic, the download store sponsors the Re-Play TV gaming show. Broadcast weekly on the country’s most popular TV channel for men aged 18 to 34, Prima Cool, the show attracts over a hundred thousand viewers, and a fast-growing YouTube and social media following.

Re-Play TV will include GMG branding at the start and end of the show. Viewers will also be able to enter an exclusive weekly competition to win top gaming prize and find out more about special promotional deals, while encouraging Czech gamers to sample the localised site and its extensive catalogue of more than 700 PC games.

Building its presence across Europe with in partnership with local industry, retail and marketing experts, GMG’s launch in the Czech Republic’s fast-growing PC retail market is in partnership with Next Level Games s.r.o - which previously operated the local Gamescape retail store chain.
