Designed with performance in mind, Evesham’s new Acumen ‘Creation’ Workstation meets the intensive demands of Computer Aided Design, Digital Content Creation, Modelling, Electronic Design Automation and Animation.

A powerful Intel Xeon Quad Core E5320 processor and 4GB 667MHz ECC RAM deliver super fast rendering power enabling users to complete projects in record time whilst a 640GB Serial ATA 7200rpm hard drive is ideal for storing large images and 3D models.

The Creation also offers Dual Quad Core Xeon support for 8 cores

Featuring the latest 512MB NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700 graphics, the Acumen Creation Workstation delivers performance, ground-breaking features and unprecedented visuals to meet the requirements of the most demanding workstation applications. The new Acumen ‘Core’ workstation from Evesham has been designed to support CAD, graphic artists, web designers, and basic 3D work. The Acumen Core includes the latest 256MB NVIDIA Quadro FX 570 graphics card which provides stability in 2D and 3D software without breaking the bank. The standard 2GB ram, which is easily upgraded, lets you multitask with ease.

The Acumen Core harnesses the power of Intel’s Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor to deliver performance in multitasking environments and multi-threaded applications. Offering 640GB internal storage for all your data needs, the Acumen Core also provides eSata connections as standard.

The Acumen Workstation family feature acoustically optimised chassis and fans which ultimately minimize noise levels to eliminate distractions in all working environments. The Acumen Core features the Aluminium Lian Li PC-V1000B chassis which offers enough space for six 3.5.” hard drives, four 5.25” drives and two 120mm fans to keep the system cool as well as quiet. The Acumen Creation features the Intel SC5299WS chassis which can house six 3.5” hard drives, two 5.25” drives and one 120mm fan.

ECC RAM is used as standard in both the Creation and the Core. ECC RAM detects and corrects failing bits in memory on the fly with no impact to applications which reduces system crashes for a smoother working experience. Both the Core and the Creation can also handle dual monitor setups at high resolutions via dual link DVI.
