Nvidia has just released a short teaser trailer promising the launch of its new flagship graphics card on Thursday 24 March.

The video was uploaded to the company’s YouTube channel, and features Nvidia's director of technical marketing Tom Petersen showing off a large box with 'Top Secret' scrawled on the side.

He stops short of any specifics, but does reveal that Nvidia has been working on the card that is in the box for two years and that it will be the company's ‘next generation, highest performance graphics card.

That could point to either an entirely new range of graphics cards, or an addition to Nvidia's current range that will sit above the GeForce GTX 580 1.5GB.

It's also worth checking out the screens sneakily placed behind the secretive Mr Petersen, as the graphics card pictured on them doesn't look like anything we've seen before. Having said that, it's a pretty arty shot and the screens are nearly all partly obscured, so maybe we're reading too much into it.

If we produced a teaser trailer for a new graphics card, though, we'd probably try to sneak a little Easter egg in there for the eagled-eyed viewers. Just saying.

Anyway, check out the video below and let us know your thoughts in the forums.
