At this years Game Developer Conference the developers for the upcoming Penny Arcade game, On The Rainslick Precipice of Darkness, have revealed the schedule they are aiming for.

The producer of Vancouver-based Hothead Games, Joel DeYoung, spoke to Joystiq about the release schedule for the upcoming action adventure.

"Yeah, definitely there's a fixed release schedule. It's tentative right now, but we're talking about one every four months," DeYoung explained in a GDC interview.

DeYoung then revealed that work on the third episode in the series is already underway.

"[It's tentative] because, you know, this is a new model for us, and it is quite tricky with all the project management scheduling and making sure we're officially overlapping the work on all the episodes."

The Penny Arcade game concept has met with mixed reactions from readers of the popular webcomic, but we're going to reserve our own opinion until the first episode of the game is released this spring.
