A pay-what-you-want Humble Origin Bundle featuring Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Crysis 2, Mirror's Edge, Medal of Honor and Burnout Paradise has launched.

Paying above the average, currently sitting at $4.74, will also unlock Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3.

In a departure from other Humble Bundle promotions, EA is foregoing its entire share of the proceeds and is instead offering up five different charities that bundle buyers can donate to instead. Contributions can be split between the Human Rights Campaign, the American Red Cross, Watsi, the American Cancer Society and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

The EA-published games are all available via Origin with some of the older titles also available through Steam. At present, the bundle has seen more than 600,000 customers and raised nearly $3m.

When initially launched, Origin's servers struggled under the strain of so many people submitting game redemption codes and the issue is yet to be fully resolved.

The Humble Origin Bundle is the third departure from the pay-what-you-want bundle organisers' indie routes having also run bundles themes around THQ prior to its bankruptcy filing and Deep Silver.

The Deep Silver bundle featuring Dead Island, Saints Row: The Third and Sacred 2 closed yesterday having pulled in $2.4m across 470,000 bundles.
