Sega has confirmed that the release date for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version of Condemned 2: Bloodshot has slipped by a few weeks.

The game is now expected to be gracing consoles on the 4th of April, according to confirmation received by Eurogamer.

Bloodshot is the sequel to the dark and gritty FPS punch-em-up Condemned: Criminal Origins, which we reckon is one of the best games you've probably never played.

The sequel to the Xbox 360 launch title (and subsequent PC port) casts players as Ethan Thomas, an ex-FBI agent who thinks with his fists and has to fight his way through a bizarre, psyche-shattering mystery.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot will feature a more brutal and kinetic fighting mechanic, complete with new combos and weapons. For more information you can check out the recent hands-on preview we did with the game.
