The guys at Rock are rallying their way through Europe for the Cannonball 8000 event.

The company's MD, Nick Boardman, has logo'd up his Porsche, nabbed a co-driver from Intel and is currently speeding his way (within the limits, obviously) through France, German and Eastern Europe in a bid to get to Budapest ahead of the other 120 teams.

On board Nick's Porsche is a Rock notebook with a Co-Pilot Live GPS system to help with navigation. It also means that you can track his progress live on the web.

To celebrate the event, Rock is also selling a limited edition Cannonball laptop, with some funky graphics on the lid and some decent hardware inside, including a Intel Core 2 Duo 6700 processor, NVIDIA GeForce 7600 and a GPS receiver and Co-Pilot Live software. You can check that system out over on the Rock website.

We saw Rock off from Earl's Court this morning, having spent the previous night partying away in London with the rest of the Cannonball drivers and, oddly, Michelle from Big Brother 5.

Check out the Rock details, then let us know your thoughts over in the forums!
