After its public beta release back in April, Opera has gone ahead and release the full stable version of the new Opera. Version 9 is available for Windows, Mac and Linux in 25 different languages.

As with the previous version, Opera is now ad-free and has some interesting features including support for Torrents and also widgets, which may be practical or just plain annoying - depending on how clean you like your screen to be.

Opera has proudly declared "Even while adding these improvements, Opera 9 maintains the security and speed millions of Opera fans have come to expect". All this along with extra security features and with a bit of testing the browser is certainly as fast as ever.

You can download the latest version by pressing the big green button here.

Does this give you advantages over IE or FireFox? Or are you still loyal to just one browser? Go check out the browser and let us know over in the forums.
