Introduction

Late in 2006, we here at bit-tech wowed the world with our Mod of the Year competition. Thanks to you, our loyal readers and community members, we were able to host the largest modding competition to date, featuring twelve of the best mods to grace our front page.

This year, we've worked hard to bring some more of that type of community love back to our forums - and we have a lot to show for it. Welcome to the first ever Mod of the Month contest, our replacement for our popular Project Log Updates. The premise is simple - like the updates before, I pick a few of the best mods our project logs have going (that aren't bit-tech affiliated already, sorry Nick!), and we'll let those of you who are members of our community be the judge.

Voting will begin on Friday at 5pm GMT and run for one week, and is open to all members of the forums. Simply pop into the article's discussion thread during that time and choose your favourite! The winner of the contest gets a great prize from some of the best supporters of modding around.

Speaking of, for those who missed the announcement, here's the sponsors for the Mod of the Month for June 2007.
