Now for something slightly different! acey's been in Mod of the Month before with Paerazzi which features a similar style to Project: M2 with what acey describes as a 'half human half dragon grotesque theme'. Lovely!

While it might repulse some, there some serious skill on show here which is why we thought acey deserved a place in August's line up. What's clear though is that just like Project: AnG3L, the finished mod will be virtually unrecognisable from the original case, such is the amount of modding that's gone on.


Some early sketches give a small idea of what we're in for with sweeping wings surrounding the case and a large moulded face on the front panel. It looks like no portion of the case will go untouched with the base featuring what looks like webbed feet as a kind of stand.


With what appears to be a form of papier mache, acey went a long way in a short space of time already covering the front and side panels despite having posted the project in June. We can already see the wave-like features on the side panel too.


The skulpting here is amazing. Clearly acey is a master of papier mache with a perfectly smooth and symatrical face gracing the front panel. Sitting in line with the waves it looks brilliant although probably not everyone's cup of tea admittedly! Impressive skill none the less.
