Forum user @nton only joined our forum in July, but this hasn't stopped him from wowing members of the community with his Airbender project, which sports a very realistic-looking jet engine.

The Lian Li V1000 case didn't last long as the subject of @nton's efforts, and here we can see the beginnings of an air duct, which will draw cool air into the CPU area.

We've seen a few mods inspired by jet engines over the years, but this is certainly one of the best. Even after a few updates, it was clearly going to look fantastic.

The addition of appropriately coloured lighting went down a storm in the thread, and rightly so. This thing looks like it's about to set fire to the work bench and make a neat round hole in the nearest wall.

The attention to detail is exceptional too, with these various bits made from spare parts and electrical components.
