Sitecom’s online Information Center now not only has written explanations, but also videos which provide end users with information to make the latest technology understandable and accessible. For example, less technically-minded consumers can see how easy it is to create a secure wireless network.
Rotterdam (the Netherlands), January 2011 - Sitecom strives to develop solutions which are, above all, user-friendly and, with that in mind, is launching an updated and all-encompassing Information Center. New technologies and network concepts are now made understandable to a wide public using videos which give a clear explanation and include clear illustrations. According to Marketing Manager Virginia Yanquilevich, the new videos are fully in line with Sitecom’s mission to make things as easy as possible for end users: “As a home networking specialist, we see it as our duty to share our expertise. Our videos inform end users in a new, meaningful way. We believe that we can convince consumers by using a language that they understand and by showing them the advantages and user-friendliness of the latest solutions.” Sitecom will continue to produce videos to allow end users to always take a well-considered decision.
Information Center
The videos are easy to find and are presented in a user-friendly way to visitors of the website. The videos cannot only be found in the Information Center, but also on the relevant product pages. Since Sitecom is an international player and wishes the videos to be accessible to as many consumers as possible, we have chosen to produce the videos in English and to provide Dutch, German, Spanish and Italian subtitles. Besides providing information, Sitecom also helps end users to make the right choice when searching for new solutions. Sitecom does this by including a list of related products under every video. If, for example, a consumer watches a video about Dual-band, there will be a list of products which have this functionality. It’s easy with Sitecom!
