According to Staffordshire-based online retailer, Overclockers UK, we could see the Radeon X1800XT 512MB video card available as early as November 2nd. That's next Wednesday.

We haven't evaluated the Radeon X1800XT 512MB here on bit-tech just yet, but we hope to do so very soon. You can read about our thoughts on the Radeon X1800XL here.

Despite not being available yet, the Radeon X1800XT 512MB has been in the news quite a bit recently, after two Finnish enthusiasts managed to overclock their pre-release X1800XT to 1003/1881MHz using liquid nitrogen cooling.

The XT comes clocked at 625/1500MHz with 16 pixel pipelines and 8 vertex shaders, and our fellow journalists state that it is faster than the GeForce 7800 GTX 256MB.

We know there is a GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB coming soon. However, we're not sure how soon just yet, as we believe that it will not be released on November 7th as we mentioned on Wednesday.

It seems that Connect3D will be first to market in the UK this time around. It was Club 3D for both the Radeon X1800XL and Radeon X850 CrossFire Edition cards here in the UK.

Are you heading out to buy one when they're available? Drop your thoughts in the forums.
