Intel's developer event is underway this morning, with press and hardware makers from around the world all gathered to find out the latest dealings from the company.

First up this morning is the CEO of Intel, Paul Otellini, who is expected to announce new processors for next year. We'll be bringing you the details of Intel's next-generation processors as soon as we have them (hint: they're going to drop the Pentium 4 NetBurst architecture).

This afternoon there are going to be talks on the next generation Centrino, as well as developing software for OSX on Intel.

Through the rest of the week there are sessions on the next-generation enthusiast PC, as well as HD audio, new SATA, virtualization, and all kinds of other technical shenanigans.

Stay tuned!
