AMD has announced that it's going to be pushing its graphics hardware with a new games bundled, dubbed Never Settle, coinciding with the release of the final Catalyst 12.11 drivers and a claimed significant boost in performance.

The Never Settle bundle packages a selection of new-release titles with selected AMD graphics boards, depending on which board you buy. To get your hands on the top-spec bundle, which includes copies of Sleeping Dogs, Hitman: Absolution and Far Cry 3, along with a voucher for 20 per cent off Medal of Honor: Warfighter, you'll need to be shelling out for one of the company's top-end Radeon HD 7900 boards.

If you prefer a bit of CrossFire action, buying two HD 7800s will get you everything bar Sleeping Dogs, as will the purchase of a pair of Radeon HD 7770 GHz Editions. If your budget doesn't stretch that far, buying either a Radeon HD 7800 or Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition on its own will get you Far Cry 3 plus the 20 per cent off voucher for Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

If that's not enough to tempt you into the red camp for you next upgrade, AMD has also launched version 12.11 of its Catalyst driver package - now known, and we're not making this up, as 'The Never Settle Driver Catalyst 12.11' - with promised performance boosts in a range of games.

The exact boost on offer varies depending on title and settings, but AMD is claiming framerate increases of just shy of 10 per cent on games including Borderlands 2, Civilization V, DiRT Showdown, Skyrim, Sleeping Dogs, Sniper Elite V2 and StarCraft II at resolutions between 1920x1080 and 2560x1600.

The games package is pretty strong, especially at the top end, and a clear answer to rival Nvidia's bundling of Borderlands 2 with selected boards of its own. Whether it will help stem the worrying losses AMD is currently experience, however, remains to be seen.

Catalyst 12.11, which we refuse to call by AMD's ridiculous moniker, will be available to download from AMD's support site shortly - at the time of writing, the latest non-beta download is still 12.8.
