We have just learned that ATI's Radeon X1800XT 512MB is now available in the UK. Ebuyer appears to be the first with the video cards in stock, priced under £400.
They are selling Sapphire's implementation of the X1800XT at £389.96, which appears to be a pretty good price compared to the list price of nearly £470 on Overclockers UK.
Overclockers actually claimed that they would have stock on November 2nd, but that appears to have fallen through. They're now listing pre-order, with stock arriving on the 28th for the Connect3D cards they claimed to be getting last week. Obviously, something has messed up somewhere and it's not the time to start making conspiracy theories about what has happened.
However, there are 30 cards available to buy right now - get one while you can, as they're likely to sell like hot cakes.
