The community has voted for its favourite designs. Now just five will compete in the final design stage.
Phobya's water-cooled case design competition took another step towards the finale today, as voting for the ten designs from
Stage 2 ended. The modding community has voted for its favourite five designs, and the top five will now head into the final design stage.
The competition started several months ago, with scores of designs being entered in Stage 1 before being refined, tweaked and modded, with feedback from the community being fed into the designs.
Congratulations to the top five - they will all be entering the final stage of design and feedback this week.
The final round of voting will take place next month, and we'll also be hearing Phobya's thoughts on the projects before the final three designs go forward for the final decision.
The top five designers and their designs are:
mick64 with Proteus

Razer2007 with Phobya Gladio

Roboduck with II

SnowyOwl with Black Owl

Subtec with Dominus

We'd like to thank all the participants for their hard work in this pioneering competition - we think everyone has gained valuable feedback and learned a lot from the process, whether it's about water cooling or case design. If you've missed any of the previous action, you can see the original 32 entries
here, and nominees for the final stage
here.
As always, please feel free to discuss the results in the
forums.

Phobya Aurora's design will live on though - LOSIAS 'elite' members will know what I mean here..
Of the five finalists then it has to be the minimalist looks of the Dominus, a very nice case indeed!
If your voting based on colours then you havn't been voting properly!
I think the Aurora is great externally, I could imagine it being in production and selling reasonably well if there were a choice of colours. It does need more drive bays though.
It's amazing that enthusiasts can produce such nice kit when some companies market some ugly *****
This is a competiton for WC case an WC means to me Silence and when everthing ist trimt on silence, only thing you will always notice is HDD , after that you go to your trusted WC shop and buy Silentstar http://p.gzhls.at/348418.jpg in the concept si no room for such thing.
Please let the true WC case Win.
