How much guts does it take to be a hardcore gamer and learn needlepoint? Probably quite a lot, although when the results are as sweet as this, then the dedication is understandable.

rosered, from the JohnsonCrafts forum has set out to create a stitching pattern based on the design of an old NES controller. The end result? A fantastic hand-stiched carry case for the Nintendo DS Lite.

The modder has even gone to the trouble of lining the inside with felt for that extra luxe feel.

If you fancy your own, they are even kind enough to provide a pattern so you can get your grandma to make one for you!
