Vuzix Begins Shipping the First Ever Sunglass Form Augmented Reality Wrap 920AR Video Eyewear

London, UK (October 11, 2010) – Vuzix Corporation (TSX-V: VZX, OTC:BB: VUZI), a leader in video eyewear, today announced that it is now shipping the PC version of its much-anticipated Augmented Reality Wrap 920AR sunglasses, which were recently featured in the September issue of National Geographic Magazine. Early shipments are being made available to research and industrial organizations and to universities. The company expects to ship to its retail partners in the first quarter of 2011. The glasses, which are the world’s first augmented and mixed reality sunglasses, enable wearers to view the real-world environment and computer-generated imagery and data seamlessly, bringing mixed and augmented reality content to life.
