Great maybe a third option for me.. Wheres the pics/prices? :| meh, either way the QuadGT from Abit already has all those features and uses a 5 phase digital system... Looks like DFI is slacking!

I can't even load their Global site at the moment...

It looks pretty good for an infinity DFI mobo too:

US that I have seen would suggest ~£90 here.

P35 mobos will be out shortly though ...
myth 5th April 2007, 16:31 Quote
P35? Sorry I havnt been keeping up to date on new chip sets and such :(
BUFF 5th April 2007, 16:43 Quote
Bearlake, it's the next Intel chipset - basically a 965 replacement.
Can't help but feel that DFI may have shut the stable door after the horse has bolted with this mobo ...
myth 5th April 2007, 16:46 Quote
So the 975 will still remain Intels flag chip?
Bindibadgi 5th April 2007, 18:13 Quote
Nope, that's the still hush hush X38
myth 5th April 2007, 18:40 Quote
humm.. Whens the X302 going to be launched then? Or have the snake heads infiltrated the project again?

It's definately digital, and it's definately the mobo (taken from DFI's press-release).

I know where its from I looked last night. But digitals are not layed out any thing like that! Wheres the Digital regulator? It's not there :| That looks like a 3 phase analog to me...

Four.

But don't take a photo as gospel til you see a final retail version reviewed.

Well looks nice mobo for infinity series...

Err, are DFI going to launch some Core2duo/quad + Sli Lanparty mobo's near future? I've been wondering why DFI haven't used 680i chip in their products...
BUFF 5th April 2007, 23:49 Quote
there's a 680i LT chipset board coming out v. shortly too.
Gravemind123 6th April 2007, 01:58 Quote
Yeah, you can find some info on that 680i board here. It's about time DFI came out with some Core2Duo boards other then the RD600.
Evenge 6th April 2007, 13:39 Quote
Hey big thanks about the link!
IAmATeaf 7th April 2007, 12:57 Quote
Waited and waited for this board to come out but gave up a few weeks ago and went out purchased a DS3P in the end, the DFI does look and perform well from what I've read.
Krikkit 7th April 2007, 19:20 Quote
The 680i offering looks pretty awesome, but as they've been discussing on XS - it could be too little too late. We'll see.
myth 7th April 2007, 19:26 Quote
I love the sata layout and the color isn't bad either but the competition is too tough. DFI is facing the P5B and the QuadGT, both of which are the best 965 mobos out there. This thing will really have to be cheap to compete.
Krikkit 8th April 2007, 00:13 Quote
It'll have to be as cheap as the competition, and have some of that DFI magic that's been lacking of late.

Unfortunately Bearlake's coming out soon, which could trump this completely. Hopefully not, but it could do.
