So what's the equivalent speed? X1300?

it'll be slower than that, but it'll be derrived from the Radeon X1300 architecture (with HyperMemory, I'm assuming).

what happened to the x700 level graphics?

Personally I'd prefer a x1300 feature set, but wasn't this chipset supposed to have a r400 (x series) family graphics core equivilent to a x700 performance wise?

AVIVO would suggest x1 series, but this seems inconsistent with previous reports that ATi would be jumping straight from a shader model 2b x700 style core to full dx10 support with rs670.

well, X700 performance is on a level with X1300. ;)
