Sweet! I can transfer a full 8GB in under 4 minutes at 40 megabytes per second. I think I might need a FireWire 800 card to do it but that's a small price to pay.

Ah well the IV sounds good, and suprisingly low prices.

Some weeks ago I filled my 2GB Ultra II with around 315 photos. I had to wait a couple of minutes to download them all.

If you're not a real pro, it isn't worth the money.
The IV costs 2 times more than a Ultra II, and I'm very pleased with it, shooting RAW+JPG with a D70.

I wouldn't mind seeing this benchied as a bootable drive if possible, I know my mobo supports USB2.0 card readers as bootable....

I'm sure there's plenty of cameras out there that would do with a firmware upgrade. Either that, or they already do. :)
