Watch all 9 years of The Daily Show, free.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart - All 9 years are now available to watch for free, online.

Do you like very popular satire comedy of The Daily Show, with Jon Stewart? Or at you simply bored at work this Friday morning? Well The Daily Show dot com is now offering the entire nine years worth of back catalogue, for free, to watch on its website.

OK, so it's clips only rather than the complete 25 minute show and you've probably been watching illegal rips on YouTube anyway, however this is legal and those who suffer from harsh internet policies at work where YouTube is blocked - this could easily kill a few hours today.

Don't shoot the messenger because it's still "in Beta" - I know some of you find that just an excuse for half assed websites where they downplay it breaking by stating "we're still testing it". Thankfully everything seems to work really very well and scanning the back catalogue is exceptionally easy.

Because it's news you can get away with it easier - I just told Tim I was "researching this story" this morning and suddenly it's 10am! And remember, Friday is virtually the weekend anyway - no one expects any work to be done on a Friday, so it's all good!

Got any other free online (legal) video to share with us? Let us know in the forums.

www.abc.com has free episodes for 6 shows online, they do have like 5s ads, but it's better than watching on tv with 3m ad breaks

I personally can't stand Jon Stewart's smug attitude and pseudo-news but I appreciate the precedent this web-release sets.

It's a comedy show.

I realise that, however, at lot of people actually consider it to be the primary source of their news http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/tv/157538_tv22.html

Honestly though, I don't care. I didn't much care for Seinfeld either and that was hugely popular. For me he was too whiny and Jon Stewart is too smug and mocking - I don't like his show and that's my personal taste - If you like him then good for you. ;)

I just made my post to say that I like the precedent (and only that).

To be honest, The Daily Show is a more fair and balanced coverage of news than any of the other (US) news networks. Considering the over-hyping and fearmongering that ABC, CNN, (MS)NBC and Fox (Especially) are all guilty of, along with their very distinctly biased viewpoints, the sarcastic and caustic viewpoint that Jon Stewart uses equally is a breath of fresh air.

And, if you want to see things from the other side of the fence (So pro-government-line and right-wing it ends up wrapping around and being left wing again), you wait half an hour and watch the Colbert Report straight after.

Got to admit I do enjoy watching the Daily Show as well as The Colbert Report, it will be good to browse through this for some of the earlier clips.
