GamesCom 2010: Speaking at the Sony press conference ahead of the actual GamesCom 2010 event tomorrow, Sony has announced a new European release date for long-awaited racer, Gran Turismo 5.
European gamers can now look forward to burning virtual rubber on November 3rd, 2010.
The new release date means that European gamers may finally get to play Sony's long awaited racer before the end of the year – we're saying maybe because, well, it wouldn't be the first time that Sony let Grant Turismo 5 slip a little.
Gran Turismo 5 is being led by Kazunori Yamauchi, who's been working on GT5 for what seems like forever.
Despite a protracted development cycle however, Sony has released a much scaled down version of Gran Turismo 5 already, subtitled Prologue.
