Square Enix has teamed up with the Humble Bundle team to launch a pay-what-you-want bundle of a selection of classic and more modern games in the publisher’s portfolio.
The basic bundle includes the original Hitman: Codename 47, Hitman 2, Anachronox, Mini Ninjas, the original Thief and the John Romero’s infamously flawed Daikatana.
Paying more than the average price, which at present is around the $7.80 mark, will also unlock Deux Ex: Invisible War, Deus Ex: The Fal, Hitman: Absolution, Battlestations: Midway and the Nosgoth Veteran Pack which will allow players access to the beta of Square Enix’s in-development vampire-based MMO. Additional games will also be added to the bundle over the next week.
A third tier of games is available for anyone paying more than $15, including the directors cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Just Cause 2, Kane & Lynch 2, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and the original Deus Ex.
Although previous bundles have made an effort to cater to Linux and Mac users, all of the games offered in the Humble Square Enix Bundle are only redeemable on Steam.
Like previous bundles, proceeds can be split between developers, the Humble team themselves and partnered charities. The charities involved this time around are GamesAid and Make-A-Wish.
The Humble Square Enix Bundle follows hot on the heels of the 2K bundle which was run a couple of weeks ago.
