AMD has announced that it will be rolling crazy 80s sci-fi flick inspired first-person shooter Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon into its Never Settle Reloaded games bundle - and that those who have already redeemed their bundle will be getting the game as well, free of charge.

Part of the constant attempts by AMD and Nvidia to convince buyers to pick up their graphics cards over those of their rivals, the latest revision of the Never Settle Bundle offered those picking up select AMD graphics boards grabbing up to six games thanks to redeemable download vouchers. We're not talking ancient freebies, either, but Far Cry 3, Hitman: Absolution, and BioShock Infinite among other titles.

Now, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is in the list. Anyone buying a qualifying card from an approved retailer can expect to find the total conversion of Far Cry, which stars action hero Michael Biehn of Aliens and The Terminator fame as Mark IV Cyber Commando Sergeant Rex 'Power' Colt - no, really - looking to conquer a neon-themed 2007 as envisioned in 1980s straight-to-VHS films, in their list of downloadable titles.

If you've already picked up an AMD card and redeemed your vouchers, fear not: the red camp is cognisant of your needs, and has confirmed that anyone with a Never Settle Reloaded bundle will be getting the game added to their collection free of charge. The bundle is also being expanded to cover the Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition, although that particular offer is for new purchases only

Those who wish to pick the game up will have to wait a little while, however: Ubisoft has yet to formally release the title, after a security flaw in its Uplay platform allowed attackers download it free of charge prior to launch - resulting in the ability to download games from Uplay being temporarily removed until the company can patch the hole and figure out which games have been legitimately acquired and which accounts need to be closed. The game is to officially launch on the 1st of May - assuming Uplay is fixed by then.

More details regarding the offer are available on AMD's website, while the teaser trailer for the game itself is reproduced below.
