Comedian Iain Lee will host a concert that will celebrate the music of computer and video games as part of the Vision Sound Music Festival.

The concert, dubbed 'Video Games Heroes' will be played by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and will feature music from games as varied as Super Mario and Angry Birds.

Comedian Iain Lee will host the event, saying that he's 'been obsessed with video games since I was 8 years old.'

'It's great to see the music from games finally getting the respect it deserves,' continued Lee. 'What could be better than hearing these famous pieces played by the superb London Philharmonic Orchestra?'

The concert will take place on 2nd September at the Royal Festival Hall and tickets are available from £16.

The Vision Sound Music Fesitval will span three days and starts on September 2, 2011. Events will be hosted around London and more information is available at the official site.
