Ubisoft has confirmed that the PC version of the console mega-hit Assassin's Creed will feature new exclusive missions types, giving it a firm edge over the original version.

The PC port of the game, which will be available this March, will add in four new mission types not found on the console game. The new investigation types should go a long way to addressing the repetitive nature which many slandered in the original Assassin's Creed.

Just to be clear though - it seems as though these are four new mission types, not just specific missions. This means players should hopefully have a broader array of options all the way through the game.

Of course, the bad news is that you'll still need a supercomputer to run the damn thing - just take a look at the minimum requirements!

The PC version of the original, which has sold 2.5 million copies since release, has been rated M by the ESRB too so you can be sure there's a fair amount of guts and gore.

Are you a big Assassin's Creed fanboy, or do you just like Jade Raymond? We can't say we blame you on either, but let us know in the forums either way.
