Top 10 Games Chart

Top 10 Games Chart

An ongoing Steam summer sale has seen unlikely candidates return to the Steam Top 10 this month.

This week we've been eating a lot of fancy food, having tried out a new oyster bar down by Borough Market and feasted on some of the finest pies we've ever had. Saturday evening was spent toasting to our own good taste, while Sunday morning was spent with a bit of indigestion owing to the sudden increases in dietary extravagance.

Also, we played some games and even Games Editor Joe went on a bit of a Steam-based shopping spree following Valve's summer sale.

What has everyone else been playing? Check the GameStation multiplatform chart below to find out!

1. Zumba Fitness - PS3, Xbox 360, Wii
2. FEAR 3 - PC, PS3, Xbox 360
3. LA Noire - PS3, Xbox 360
4. DIRT 3 - PS3, Xbox 360, PC
5. Virtua Tennis 4 - PS3, Wii, Xbox 360
6. Transformers: Dark of the Moon - Xbox 360
7. Brink: Special Edition - PC, PS3, Xbox 360
8. Top Spin 4 - PS3, Wii, Xbox 360
9. Red Faction: Armageddon - PS3, Xbox 360
10. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D - 3DS

And, below, you can see the heavily skewed daily bestsellers on Steam, with discounts marked...

1. Fallout: New Vegas - 70 per cent off
2. Fallout: New Vegas Honest Hearts DLC - 70 per cent off
3. Mount and Blade: Complete Pack - 75 per cent off
4. Frozen Synapse - 50 per cent off
5. Fallout: New Vegas Dead Money DLC - 70 per cent off
6. Assassin's Creed Collection - 25 per cent off
7. Alpha Protocol - 75 per cent off
8. Doom Pack Complete - 75 per cent off
9. Singularity - 75 per cent off
10. Trine - 90 per cent off

Our picks from the Steam sale? Frozen Synapse is mighty tempting given that you get two copies included with every purchase, while Trine is a Hall of Fame entrant for less than £2. Get them both.

I've noticed a pattern. Each time the steam sales occur, I go broke.

I bought it at release, for the release price. First time I started playing it properly was at the weekend, and now I discover it's on sale...

Yep, I did get them both. Trine is good, Frozen Synapse, well I only played it for about 10 mins but I think I suck at it... :o

I haven't gotten around to even install games from the last sale. But have played a lot of Dead Rising 2 wich i LOVE! My account is now flooded with games I havent played, and now this???? All games are on sale. Not that the prices in EURO is very cheap, but still sometimes cheaper than retail, wich is good considering steams regular prices !

I have managed to resist buying any games from the current Steam sale. There are games I bought from last years summer sale I haven't played yet.

It's been said before but I will say it again. Steam has some of the best sales ever and if a game you like isn't on sale, just wait, eventually some sorta deal will come up and that game you didn't want to drop your weekly lunch money on will be worth peanuts and you'll be happy your a steam user. LONG LIVE STEAM.

2 Tennis games in the top 10 overall this week? Its weird how everyone seems to remember they enjoy tennis when Wimbledon is on, then promptly forgets it the next week. I personally think Tennis is boring to watch and play online. Actually playing it in person though is ok if you have someone of the same level as you.
