Top 10 UK PC games chart

Napoleon has invaded the top spot at the UK PC sales chart this week, with the new Total War topping the chart.

Napoleon has invaded the UK this week, with Creative Assembly's Napoleon: Total War topping the UK's PC sales charts, followed by the usual suspects and a resilient Aliens vs Predator.

Unfortunately, our own Napoleon: Total War review has been held back by holidays and technical issues, but it'll be with you all shortly, so stay tuned! In the mean time, check the rest of the sales chart below.

01 Napoleon: Total War (New Entry)
02 Football Manager 2010 (Last week: 3)
03 Aliens versus Predator (Last week: 1)
04 The Sims 3 (Last week: 2)
05 The Sims 3 World Adventures (Last week: 4)
06 Modern Warfare 2 (Last week: 6)
07 BioShock 2 (Last week: 5)
08 World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (Last week: 7)
09 Left 4 Dead 2 (Last week: 14)
10 Mass Effect 2 (Last week: 8)

The Steam chart meanwhile has the usual spatter of pre-orders and long-lasters, our favourite of which is still the simply astounding Mass Effect 2.

01 Battlefield: Bad Company 2 LE
02 Supreme Commander 2 (pre-order)
03 Modern Warfare 2
04 Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2 Chaos Rising DLC
05 Napoleon: Total War Imperial Edition
06 Left 4 Dead 2
07 Football Manager 2010
08 Borderlands
09 Aliens versus Predator
10 Mass Effect 2

Suprised to see WotLK in the charts so much seeing as it's a very old expansion now

N:TW is playing well - no crashes unlike Empire, and it has tighter gameplay too. Oh, and the animations of bodies getting hurled around by cannonballs is excellent. Suprised you're having technical problems though...
