Unreal Tournament 3 Black has taken the number 1 spot in the Steam chart, thanks to a limited special offer.
After just two weeks at the top of the hill, Dawn of War II has now been given a shove down to third place by Creative Assembly's Napoleonic RTS,
Empire: Total War. This week also saw the recently released
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin start to slip down the ranks from number four to number 8. Meanwhile, Spore has re-entered the top 10 again after falling down to number 11 last week. You can see the
retail top 10 for the week ending 7 March below:

There's been little in the way of big changes further down the chart this week, although both of last week's major new entries, Men of War and Tom Clancy's EndWar, have taken a good battering already. Men of War is already on its way out at number 20, while EndWar has been knocked down from number 9 to number 14. You can see the

It's interesting to see how a special offer can affect the Steam chart from week to week. Last week, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition re-entered the chart because of a cut-price deal, and this week has seen a similar occurrence with Unreal Tournament 3 Black. The Black edition of Unreal Tournament 3 includes the new Titan Pack, which features 11 new multiplayer maps and two new game modes called Greed and Betrayal. Until 15 March, the game has 40 percent off its usual price of £13.99, meaning it's now currently available for just £8.39, which explains why it's gone straight in to take the number 1 position. Similarly,
World of Goo has also re-entered the chart at number 6 after a cut-price deal this weekend. See the full

Sentence after top 20 is a bit of a revelation as it mentions 'Dawn of War III' - where can haz pls?
I recently played the demo of HAWX and it seems pretty cool - a bit like Air Combat with an extra iota of strategy added.
So, your comments about spell checking other people's spellchecking are, in fact, in dire need of spell checking to know the difference between spellchecking and proper spell checking.
That, dear friends, ends today's lesson in "irony". Have a nice day!

Awesome. A one post wonder.
Muphry's Law strikes again!
So was I. I hadn't played it before but I do like it more than 2k3/4: it feels a lot more like the original, though I'm not a fan of the art direction. Still can't beat that 1999 feeling, but its close enough. I'll be sticking to classic for LAN parties though.
