Defyant has finally finished his
Stormd mod project, and the log is well worth a read. It features some neat lightning effects, as well as hand made reservoirs. All in all, a very neat mod job.
Similarly,
this is a rather tidy Prometia / Lian-Li mod.
And, if you want one more project to check out, we'll stick with the Lian-Li theme and point you
in this direction. What happens when one case isn't quite big enough for your rig? Why, you stick two together, of course...
Are you excited about the PhysX PPU? It's scheduled to be on the shelves of retailers before Christmas, and the list of games supporting the processor is growing. Next up on the list, as far as we can tell, is City of Villains from NCSoft. There's lots of discussion going on about the pros and cons of the hardware
over here.
We've got at least 3 forum members who have ordered the new PowerBooks with extra screen resolution. Are you envious, or are you part of the semi-HD-Mac-buying club too? Drop by
this thread in our Apple forum and let us know.
Looking to achieve something exciting this evening? How about a couple of guides from our
Mod Guides forum to give you something to think about? First up is a guide on how to
wire an external switch to reset your CMOS - a useful trick for hardcore overclockers. If you want something a bit more in-depth, forumite
Captain Slug has an awesome guide on
how to go about machining plastics. Anyone doing their own acrylic work would do well to check this one out.
Lastly, it has been brought to the attention of the
bit-tech-reading populous that I
look a bit like Gordon Freeman. Har-de-har.
