Well done your mod look great

I've been following the Commodore PET log - so thumbs up from me.

The Tron Lightcycle just looks quality
SMIFFYDUDE 8th April 2011, 12:20 Quote
Tron Lightcycle reminds me of a JVC boombox, looks cool though.

Positronic Brain

Very retro cool. Like it muchly which is odd as I have never really liked the whole steampunk (or what ever it is called) type mods.

Got my vote! :)

First 3 votes here! I wish I could vote for everyone though! Bod, awadon and Commodore for me!
Combatus 8th April 2011, 12:57 Quote
Yep, remember you all have multiple votes!!!!

Some great mods here, but I'm a sucker for anything old school!

Some quality looking builds there, (that reservoir for Orange Live looks very nice) but I have to say: Positronic Brain and Tron Lightcycle - WOW - I can't wait to see those finished.

If I had the time, tools and skill, (not asking much!) those are exactly the sort of things I'd love to be building. Awesome! :)

TRON Lightcycle gets my vote.
Hakuren 8th April 2011, 15:57 Quote

I didn't notice you could select more than one, can I somehow add another 2 votes after I've submitted just one?

boddaker has my vote, he always amazes me with his imagination and design and build skills.
yogev_ezra 8th April 2011, 18:58 Quote
Liked Commodore PET the most ;) You should change the 2001 label on the chassis to 2011 though hehe :D
Boddaker 8th April 2011, 20:51 Quote
Thanks everyone for the votes, and thanks Bit-tech for the nomination this month! :D TRON CAT will be pleased.
slugbug 8th April 2011, 20:59 Quote
The TRON Lightcycle by Boddaker is just too cool.

As with the last two months, we've enabled multiple votes, so you can vote for more than one project if you're finding it hard to choose.

You should also include "None". Even better, make the contest in 2 parts. One for the modder himself and another for the final product. These people's work is exemplary but I just don't care for any of their projects. Do you get my point? It's like saying you don't like Salvadore Dali's work based on one of his paintings that you just don't happen to like. How can "taste" possibly be quantified or even qualified?
The builders are all winners. I just don't happen to like any of their builds.

Commodore P.E.T. 2011 by TheGreatSatan or TheGreatSanta:?:D;)
Positronic Brain by awadon
TRON Lightcycle by Boddaker

;););)

Congrats to everyone else .

Congratulations to all for the nomination!

I don't have a snowball's chance in hell, but thanks for the nomination anyway. Good luck to all.

The best part of this months contest is that the top three in my book ( the P.E.T, the TRON and the BRAIN) are all non-conventional cases. They all should win for either the brilliance of taking an Icon of computer history and bringing it back to life decades later (good movie idea?) , creating what must become The most beatifull plexi work I will ever see in my life or taking a concept like the positronic brain and following it through with such creativity. Wish I could beam myself out of this tough descision!
