It is always nice to see our members in these competitions and Boddaker shows his work off on our forums as well as the Cooler Master forum. His work is fantastic and utilises 3D printing as well metal work to create something unique.


Again, this scratch build started life on a computer. It was designed to spec so that it would not throw up any problems later on.


The next job was to create a metal frame to give the build strength and act as a structure to build off.


The first 3D-printed parts are added to the frame.


As more parts are made and added, the build starts to take shape.


A reservoir is added. We now know this build will be liquid-cooled to some extent. It will be interesting to see what pipes are used and what is visible.


3D printing looks rather rough when it is in this form, but there are many ways to smooth it down for a more aesthetically pleasing finish.


There are many clues as to what the finished build might look like here. There are additional parts added, some colour, and also the build looks a lot smoother now.

This build is another one that is still in progress. Hopefully it will be finished, as there is now less than a week until the deadline!
